SL-C Super Light Kit Car

NIce work, rear bumper turned out great. The back stop is 2x better than the snow fence and tire I put up for my boy back in the 90's :D

Ok, back on the SLC. Had to make some carts for these parts so I can be a little more mobile while trying to paint 2 cars at once.

Got the bodywork done on the rear shell, primer today..

Then start prepping the front. Still some work to do on that, but I removed it so I could build the cart..

I like the white board, had one at my previously enjoyed job to keep myself on task. I have old fart syndrome e.g. squirrel syndrome. :D

Great job building those racks. That's thinking outside of the box, no pun intended.

the front locking pins were never installed, come to find out there was no material where they needed it.. this will make sense more when I put the front back on.

And finally some art....I figure if some politicians crackhead son can ask 500K for a coke induced painting, I should be able to get $20 for this!

Yep, it wins the price category on autobody toolmart!

Last night wasn't all that productive except that I watched "the breakfast club" and "dazed and confused" while working.. it was raining and I didnt feel like opening the doors to move anything out..

But I did get these gaping holes in the doors patched up. Even though I made plates that fill this entire area, these holes that they cut op just bugged me.

So I had to make a decision here. Painting 2 cars at once just isnt going to happen. This bird is 85% in final primer so I am going to focus on finishing this car first. The SLC is ready to be blown apart and will just take up way too much room like that.

So onto the firechicken... stripped the mirrors and cleaned up and final primed them and the spoiler.. Doors and decklid are prepped and ready to be cut in... Also blasted the hindges for paint.

Someone had done such a fine job on the seam sealer. I couldn't wait to see what was underneath.

For over a decade I worked out of a one car garage... it was tight, but I made it work...

I feel like im right back where I started..

You can NEVER have a too big or enough
Garages!
I think my neighbor has a nine-car.
And it's too full.
Been trying to buy his 67 Camero convert for 22 years to give him more room, but he's just not going along with the idea.
