Desertdave;20021 said:Rusty, I noticed you filled in the cowl with plugs and welded them in. What purpose did this serve? Does it affect how the heater and a/c work? Just curious
rusty428cj;20036 said:I used panel adhesive to fill in the cowl vents. When you buy an aftermarket AC it come with a cover to block off the fresh air vent in the cowl so I do not see any purpose of having the cowl open to collect leaves and other trash and rust out again. I see you are in Az so you don't know what rust is!!!
Desertdave;20061 said:This is very interesting to me. I like the clean look of it filled in. I was just curious as to the effects with a/c. I have factory a/c in my Mustang so would it affect me to fill mine in?
And yes, rust is a rare thing here in Tucson, although my Stang was born in San Jose and spent some time in the snow country of Cali. It has very minimum rust on it.
