While Chris is in Iraq we will be working on his Mustang turning it into a restomod. This was on the old forum but we will start working on it again soon so I thought I would show the progress so far.

This was the taken the day I picked it up. It has been hard for Chris to leave his son

He thought he had a good body until it came back from the sandblasters. Somebody had used a lot of fiberglass mat to repair the rust.

Someone had replaced the front apron but did not remove all the old metal and weld it properly.

Brian cut the drip rails off than drilled out the spot welds and removed the roof. Now he can repair the rust and epoxy prime the area that the factory left bare metal.

Nice work!

You must have some money tied up in metal fab equipment?

I wish we had some!
He uses a cut off wheel, angle grinder, hands, knee and work bench. We just got a 30" combo brake, roller and shear last week still learning how to use it.

Thats awesome metal work done by hand and the little tools you use!
