Mustang Project while owner serving in Iraq
I am assuming you will be adding a strip of metal to widen the outer wheel well tub? Or do they make prefabbed sizes?
The outer wheelhouse is stock only the inside comes from Graverobbers and is moved in 2 1/4"

The outer wheelhouse did not match the inner. We had this same problem on the 65 coupe and the outer wheelhouse was from a different vendor. Brian cut it in two than test fit the front

He cut the rear section than welded it together

After taking the B pillar apart we found it was beyond repair.

They only make them for a coupe so he had to make a patch

Lotta nice work going into that.
In that fresh black epoxy it reminds me of the one you took to a car show, a few years back, as a skeleton, that was just cool!

That was taken about 30 min. after I sprayed the second coat

Brian is lining up the sheetmetal with screws for the last time after he drilled holes for the plug welds

Brian has the roof welded and did away with the drip rails.

The welds were ground down and than he added a patch over the factory lead joint
Rusty,
Is there a benefit to eliminating the drip rails or is this a cosmetic enhancement thing?
RUST was the reason

This is just a beautiful build. I wish I had the money to bring mine down to you. I am curious about what suspension and drivetrain you are planning? I would hate to see all that work be wasted on a skimpy drivetrain...
