Sweet! I need this for my daily driver..........

Might not be too good for gas mileage, but would certainly be a lot of fun. :)

Dash is finished and installed. Gauges are only temporarily installed. I still have a little bit of wiring to tidy up. I changed the bezels to black because I did not care for the silver. I also decided not to use the radio surround bezel as I like the way the new radio looks without it.

New radio from antique auto radio and 6x9 speaker with dual tweeters. The radio has an output for an ipod or MP3 player. While one 6x9 isn't going to produce crazy sound, It's about all I care to do in this car.

And the driveshaft

I have an LS-3 in my vette and its rated 436HP because I have the optional redneck exhaust. Do you have any idea how they made this the HP they did without a blower?
Is it just a cam or a total internal remake?

GM now offers a 430hp, 480hp, and 525hp LS3 crate motors. I know the only difference between the 480hp and the 525hp engine is the cam, but not sure about the 430. My guess is the engines were dynoed without any accessories and or cats.

They only make 436 because GM wanted to meet emissions! The heads flow enough air for 600hp. but the leetle cam won't open those giant intake valves far enough. A simple cam change is good for another 60+hp for starters.

Here is an article that will tell you how to spend your moneys and get some real HP in your C6 Horsepower for Barry's C6

You do some fantastic work ! I also like your pick for rims. I hope to have some Boze on my '69 stang and you're right they're not cheap. What rubber are you going to mount on them ? Keep up the great work.

Barry is too cheap for that and he is probably the only person with a C-6 that has never spun the rear tires, you know what those things cost!

I'm not a tire expert, but I picked Nitto tires for this build. I was tempted to go with Sumitomo's because i have used them in the past and liked them, but since this is a high end build with very expensive wheels, i figured I better spend the money on a better brand.

The car is now on its way back to the paint shop to have the doors, headlamp buckets, and hood installed. I took a few shots of her in the sun today while prepping to load her into the trailer. The pictures don't do it justice! The car is simply stunning even without the hood, doors, and headlamp buckets! I can't wait to see it fully dressed!

Thanks!
Rounding the final turn now...looks like the endless hours of filling, sanding, filling, sanding, priming, sanding, filling, sanding, and priming paid off. Not to mention the additional 80 hours the bodyshop put into blocking the car.
