There was a study done about 10 or so years ago with about 25 different waxes and all exposed to the same test the same as parking a car in sun for 9 hours a day and they all lasted 30-60 days.
If car driven only on weekends, it may last a year as long as car is washed with a car wash solution, wash with a dish soap and the wax is gone.
Really if car is waxed with a carnuba wax, there would be no need to spray a show and shine type product but would not hurt a thing.
I have waxed a couple of cars for inside shows, one four applications over four days but when show was done, took wax and grease remover to the car to get it off.
Did a Lambo for a guy, black and waxed crap out of it and gave him a gallon of wax and grease remover and said when show done, get wax off, car took 2nd in LA show and a guy from England made offer he could not refused, so he sold it and said tha't's his problem. 28 coats of lacquer, most likley went south in a couple of years.
