You won't get it with any math. Here is what I dont understand, they say inflation is eight or so%??
Solvents are up min 30 to 100%.
Isos doubled.
Cans im not close at 50 to over 100%
Polyols at least 50%.
All the additives are up way over 10%.
I know it is my math, but I can't get the 8%
No matter if old math or new math is used.
Spi is not having a price increase!!Are the SPI listed prices going up accordingly on June 1 per the notices? I was going to place an order right after Memorial Day so it didn't come when I was gone for the long weekend, but let me know if I should do so this week.
You rock. Thanks for the reply.Spi is not having a price increase!!
In early 2020 I had enough cash to build a Shop on my land without borrowing anything. Then the Pandemic hit and prices of steel buildings doubled then actually tripled. Construction cost with me doing all the work went from around 65K to 175K for what I wanted to build. That killed my plans for the time being.Of all the price increase shocks these days, here is the one that surprised me the most.
Need some 24" long metal tubing for a building project. Right now I can get aluminum tubing for structural use cheaper than galvanized steel through suppliers that deliver to my workplace. Never saw that coming. Not that aluminum went down, just steel went up that much due to made up reasons.
