I use to put mine on a milk crate in the off season to take the weight off, they make stands for that now. Do the same still with a trailer parked outside except its on jack stands and covers on all 4 tires.Leave it in place for too long, and flat spots can appear.
Red and green locktite can be a bit%h sometimes!! I won't be doing much of anything for a while outside if I can help it, other than getting more wood for the fire. Last Thurs. it was -15 here, getting to a whopping 12 today...oh boy.got the extensions done . took heat to get the locktite they used to release. feels much better . now if it will warm up some i can go for a ride and hell no i dont ride in cold weather. had enough of that when i was younger and only had a bike.
That's a long time, especially for someone that's had your health issues.Left Tues am.
You're near Dallas right?right at 2k miles . i got in at midnight . my butt showed up thurs morning crazy amount of traffic. especially in the west texas oil fields. must have been shift change on the rigs. once we got to Abilene it cleared out some so we could hammer down. think our road trips are over for a while and no more overnighters.
better to ask for forgiveness than permission i sold my last harley in 80. figure if not now i'll never get to ride again. no bike ? fine i'll build another drag car .What I wouldn't give to ride again.... But I was a delinquent on sport bikes for years and one lousy accident spooked my wife(fiance at the time) and this conversation to get another one wouldn't go over well with her....
no , i'm southwest of there. near stevenville . i wouldn't shit on dallas if i were constipated. one of the 4 worst cities in texas. You're near Dallas right?
