Epoxy priming in cool weather

I had my Camaro in 2K after the second round of blocking and ended up with some rather large bare metal spots on the driver QP. Our temps are not as bad as some of you, but it will not get past high 40s. I plan on getting a small space heater to keep the small area warm (checking with an IR meter) since I only have to shoot epoxy on a very small area of the car. Am I correct in assuming that as long as the affected area is above 65-70 I'm good to go?

Just in case you don't know this: the epoxy itself must be up to temperature when it is mixed and sprayed.

electric heating blanket after it is dry to the touch, JC's trick.

Ok, I will no longer B++ch about it being 37 this morning.

On the electric blanket trick. I am assuming blanket the work piece a few hours/until temp and then spray, let flash till dry to the touch and blanket back over? Will this cause solvents to move too quickly? Can this trick be applied to 2k primer as well??

Keep the shop heat on for 4 hrs or so, that should allow plenty of flash/cure time before putting the blanket on it . wrap the blanket loosely around the parts ( use some clothes pins ) keep the electric blanket on it for 24 hrs or until you can move it into a heated space.

Thanks! I think I might use the electric blanket trick on the cans, had a space heater on the QP for a couple of days, and with the IR meter I get 71 at the furthest point
