I'm lost on this one, all I can think of the body line may have had 1 coat equals 3 or 4 coats of either sealer or base, most likely sealer.
If this theory is right after sets over night it will lose about 50-75% of the texture.
Only reason i come up with this answer is 34 ford body lines do the same thing a lot.
Damn, that's scary guys... Jim said it was the thicker area of epoxy.
i have had this . sealed with reduced epoxy but a little light . came back with base wet and it did the exact thing . base reducer got under the epoxy .
Jim, how long had the epoxy dried before you based? And how long did the base dry before you cleared? Did this problem occur after clear?
