A100 Twins

I can’t believe this total disaster side is basically done. Need to fab up an end cap for then “box” and install the lower curved corner inner trim piece but other than that it is better than new. What a long journey.

So close….. got an adapter to get my 3/8 air gun on the impact driver screwdriver bit. It hit that one too soon and the metal was too hot. Got the rest out after a fashion though. Anyone have one to spare?

I mix acetone with automatic transmission fluid for a homemade brew for rusty bolts
I've heard of that but nobody has told of the percentage of each one. I think the jalopy journal at one time had a list of the best bolt looseners ranked in order. But that has been years ago.

I usually mix mine about 60% acetone and 40% ATF. I use a pump style oil can to apply it where needed.
60/40 is fine I just do a 50/50 approx glug, stir and apply.
Better than anything out there BUT ATF has lots of friction modifiers in it and a spot dripped on the floor a month ago and cause fisheyes as atf is the worst of the worst in a paint area.
Just be careful!

The best thing I have found is just what Jim used--heat, and he did a good job not damaging the heads. I also use Kroil once the fastener is hot.
Just sorry I don't have any spare fasteners for the project.:p

Roof mostly welded on. Not use to 99F here so I’m done for the day. Tomorrow finished welding, blasting touch ups and lot of epoxy primer will be thrown on! The accident in the RH side put this bulge in the side panel that I found recently. It was a BEAR to get to shrunk and knocked down but it is ready for a quick media blast, epoxy and some filler.
