57 Chevy Nomad

The worst panel on the car and it doesn't need any plastic filler:encouragement:. Hard to tell from the photo what color epoxy are you using?
I find black nice for seeing imperfections and block sanding without guide. Then sometimes I'll mix a grey shade near the end of the surfacing.

There will be a little bit of filler here and there for various reasons but not enough to worry about. Epoxy is white.

For some reason during assembly the factory twisted both rocker panels installing them. The lower front part of both were twisted inward, and although there are several ways that could be properly fixed, they would all include heat and I didn't want to burn the inside of the rockers. These rockers are original and they are still rust free, so I decided to bond some scrap metal pieces on to build up the lower part of the rockers, then used a 2 inch 36 grit disc and body file to get it down to where I wanted.

Its hard to explain sometimes why I do things the way I do HA HA, you may have noticed in some of the pictures that I stripped the epoxy off the 1/4s and reapplied.

The hardest part of shrinking the panels was the area over the wheel opening. Thats the area that caused me to ruin three fenders and one 1/4 panel.
