So far it has new quarters, trunk floor and extensions, and lower window corners installed. The remainder of the metal is original and and in great shape.
My immediate plans are to install some parts I accumulated while doing the 65 Buick.
Headliner, sound deadening, carpet, roof rail seals, door seals, door weatherstripping, door and quarter glass, etc.
Still need new bucket seat foam, covers and door panels. I have a 4 speed console (for a 69 car) that will go in for now but needs a shifter boot ($160). The 18 spline 833 tranny needs new 1-2 and 3-4 synchronizer assemblies ($300) and a new 11" clutch assembly which I haven't even priced yet.
For the engine I had planned to put a stroker kit with new Aluminum heads in it but just don't have the $$$ so I'm building a zero deck, .040" over, stock motor except with the closed chambered 915 heads (1967) that have hardened seats and larger valves installed. Stock hp for the motor was 375 so with a decent cam I should be close to 500 hp when done.
