Mad Scientist
I discovered (for myself) tonight, a wonderful thing. It was a $67 (with 25% off coupon) Harbor Freight LCD inspection scope.

http://www.harborfreight.com/digital-inspection-camera-67979.html

I picked up one tonight so I could put it up inside the headliner to search for a wire I needed for the dome light. I found the wire, and then could guide my long needlenose pliers on to it, and then pulled the wire over to where I needed it, and it worked awesome.

Need to look behind something but can't see it? I mirror works, but not if it's dark. This has a mirror that mounts to the head so you can still see behind things, except it's now illuminated.

Need to look inside a frame rail to see how bad it's rusted, or how good your paint coverage rust? Stick it up through an access hole.

I used it several times tonight just putting my interior together. A lot of #(*%($)W# underneath the dash that is hard to see and get to.

Link doesn't work for me and the two I found on their site were $167 & $199 before discount.

Wow, the reason the link doesn't work is because it apparently doesn't exist on their site anymore! I can't find it anywhere. Searching for "LCD inspection camera" would bring it up. $89.99 regular price. Glad I got mine when I did...

Wife bought one like it from Home Depot for one of the kids for Christmas, it a Ryobi was about $105 or so but also has app to show picture on cell phone.
Looks neat, just because it for the kid, don't mean I can't play with it for weeks at a time. LOL

Interesting...it is back up now.
I used a 25% off coupon code to get it just a little cheaper. FYI, if you Google 25% harbor freight coupon you'll get a bunch of pages that give coupon codes. They are legit. I write the code down and tell it to the cashier and it takes it off

I am really amazed how good the image is on this.
