Will any flattener work w/ Universal?

I didn't plan ahead well enough and didn't order any SPI flattener. Is there something I can pickup at my local supplier? I'm leaving for vacation on Sat or else I'd order SPI.

Give Barry a call, do some test panels with whatever you end up using. You can also change the flattness by using faster hardener and adding some fast reducer for thinner coats. The quicker you can get it to flash off the flatter it will be.

Yes all the flattener's are real close in how they are made, any will work, some you just have to use more then others.

Thanks guys, I was able to pickup some PPG flattener so I'll give it a whirl. It's only being use in the trunk and passenger compartment so it's not real critical. I just thought it would be good to tone down the gloss as some areas are exposed and the surface prep was not done to a show car finish. I'm thinking the dull finish will help hide any inperfections and not make any future surface scatches as noticable.
