Using Liquid Flattening Agent in Universal Clear

I am considering painting all the claddings and bumpers on a 2003 Toyota 4 Runner with Universal and the Liquid Flattening agent. I understand spraying test cards to get the proper look I want to achieve. My question is, if I get any trash in this flattened clear, can it be buffed out? If so, will it gloss up the clear, or stay flat looking? I was going to go with two coats of flattened universal on these claddings. I guess I can't remember buffing flattened clear in the past. I am expecting some trash in all these claddings (due to the amount of them) and just want to make sure I can buff them if need be, and have my flattened look still. Thanks for any advice!

Flat clear or paint cannot be wet-sanded and buffed it is a tough deal sometimes to keep the dirt out.
Most feed back I get from shops is if dirt does get in the wet-sand and the apply just one more coat as most dirt shows up in the second coat.

Also to match most oem's gloss level, add the same amount of flattener as the 4000.
So if we are using the numbers on a quart painters pail, you might take the clear to the number 3 and then the flattener to the 6 and then the activator to the 9 as you do not want to activate the flattener, just the clear.
If you see a snowflake, lower air pressure 5 lbs.

that's what I thought on the flat clear. Some guys around here told me you could buff flattened clears, but I had my doubts. I never remembering being able to do so years ago. Thanks for the response.
