I am considering painting all the claddings and bumpers on a 2003 Toyota 4 Runner with Universal and the Liquid Flattening agent. I understand spraying test cards to get the proper look I want to achieve. My question is, if I get any trash in this flattened clear, can it be buffed out? If so, will it gloss up the clear, or stay flat looking? I was going to go with two coats of flattened universal on these claddings. I guess I can't remember buffing flattened clear in the past. I am expecting some trash in all these claddings (due to the amount of them) and just want to make sure I can buff them if need be, and have my flattened look still. Thanks for any advice!
