Universal Clear verses Production Clear

I haven't tried the production clear, but my everyday clear is the low VOC Euro, and I used a few gallons of the Universal on the special stuff. Hands down, the Universal is the best clear I tried, it flows very nicely, and what it does different than the Euro is that on metallic colors, I find it adds more dept. Both are very easy to buff. If I want the best finish possible, I don't hesitate, I go to the Universal.
For me, the euro felt soft when I buffed. The pad left scars. But, it sounds like it should have been rock hard too.

I really thought it was a basic formula, if you are gonna buff the car once and never buff it again, you deal with the harder faster clears. If you are looking for a real deep metallic and want to buff it regularly, universal is the best. The harder clears you are basically polishing the wax you have had to add to the car to make it look nice.
