Tinting 2k primer

Currently I'm using SPI grey 2k primer and sometimes have a difficult time in seeing my overlap from one coat to the next. What I've done in the past (with K36) is to slightly tint every other batch to make them stand out. My jobber says this won't be a problem with SPI 2k, but what specifically should I use for the tint, or perhaps more importantly, what should I avoid using?

Thanks

Use any tint off a mixing machine of good quality and keep in the area of 5% by volume, no omni or nason type tints.

Barry, would it be possible to order the 2k primer or sealer tinted red since you guys mix red base or to get SPI red tint? Reason I ask is I am going to be starting the 68 Camaro I talked to you about the other day soon and I would like the sealer coat to be red if possible. I can get tint and tint it myself if need be, just a thought since it would be keeping it all SPI products. If not would say DBC tint or Chromabase tint work?

Tinting the sealer to red is very hard as pink seems to be the word.
Best bet is the red oxide epoxy as a sealer, color works perfect under any red.
PPG tints work great.

I buy the white and black and make my own shades.
You can always add a little black and it makes a big difference.
