sunmight supplier

Yes for the finishing film i am. I am now using it for my dry 1000 and 1500 step. Still using the blue bufflex though
Is it less flimsy? You'd mentioned that the Kovax stuff needs to be turned every so often to create better cutting. How about this product?

it is more rigid but i have found all velcro sandpaper, unless loaded up, continues to work when you flip it 90 deg. the softer and more flexible the paper the more that applies though

Well i placed a small order and it came in today lol

Wow haha. That would last me quite some time. You must use a lot of 1500 lol. Let me know what you think of the 3000 sc. maybe I’ll order some myself along with some standard papers. Do you use much of their hand sanding paper? Board paper? Sheets? Is that the foam block in your pic? Thanks!

i use more 1500 than any other grit. you would not believe how fast i will burn through a dozen boxes of that. the box of sheets in the pic is their copy of the eagle assliex sheets. i ordered just one box to try out. its their coarsest grit. 180 i think. so far i have been using the brown assilex sheets for one application which works great. i want to compare the sunmight stuff. i have used their green and gold psa rolls in the past. its very good like the discs but i dont use a ton of that stuff as i dont hand sand too much.

Thanks for the info. Yeah that assilex is good stuff. Will be interesting to see if it’s just as good. So what’s up with the gold and green? Gold is paper and green is film? So film is thinner? What’s the pros and cons? If I’m using my da I’m generally not trying to get something laser straight. I’m usually buzzing panels down, prepping or cutting and buffing. My da usually always has an interface pad. Thanks in advance.

Film isnt thinner. Its just a stronger backing that cuts slightly flatter. Its not getting anything laser straight. A film backing is also more durable than paper. Its generally considered a higher quality. Only con really is its usually more expensive that a paper backing.

I bought the (3)1500 film (2)3000 foam 5 total retail pack to try on 30sq ft of lexan i cleared.
Haven't yet, looking forward to see how 3000 finishes out cause it feels much more aggressive then trizact.

1500 film 3000 foam. Felt it again, hard to explain, no doubt it's nice & bet it gets the job done quick.
I like it, backing is thick. Have to finish ordering gifts & wrap them before i can play lol.

I finally used the 3000 foam discs. I've done these 5 & 3 more after 1500 & 2000 3m (have it) by hand.
Disc's feeling less abrasive now but it'll finish the last 2.
Jim, are the foam 3000 ones i got what you tried or the carbide?
