Hey all,
The title is the simple request.
The back story for those who care to read:
I've refinished a guitar. I laid down clear and the sides came out fantastic but the front and back had some orange peel. I wet sanded the orange peel flat (1000/1500/2000) and then went to buff and polish it.
When I was done the front and back looked horrid. Almost a matte finish. Where as the sides still looked amazing. At this point I think I have to re clear the front and back of this but I need to remove the polish and swirl remover first. Should I just use something like a 500 wet sand till I have scuffed up the clear enough or should I use wax and grease remover first? (or some other chemical remover)
Thanks in advance.
Jay
I apologize for my ignorance but I'm just trying to learn.
And if mistakes are learning experiences at this point I should be a fricken genius.
