Storing mixed epoxy in the fridge.

Mixed up a big cup of black epoxy for the final coat in the engine bay, but had to leave it to help out a friend, so I stuck it in the beer fridge...
It will have been in cold storage for a little over 48 hrs.
Let it warm up and use it, or toss it?
Thanks

From what I've read about most paints and primers, they all quit working below 50 F. Some of this info you have to research to find.

For next time if you have the same scenario where you have to leave or dont use all your epoxy. If you can get it sealed and then keep it around 65 it will last for a few days.

My jobber has lids for quart mixing cups and they work decent at sealing it off, use one of those and put it in a gallon zip lock bag. I think the tech manual says 72-120 hours depending on temp and humidity when kept in a sealed container.

I personally usually only go to 3 days to be on the cautious side of things.

risking a catastrophic failure over 50 bucks worth of epoxy ? this is the kind of stuff that you see on autopainters.com . it's also how you learn to make jelly .

I use it until it starts to thicken to much to spray out of a 1.4. Usually 3-4 days. I can't to this for topcoat though. Fresh or next day is all I will use for appearance. After that the thickness doesn't spray as nice but for build primer it's great.

Well...
It's kind of a moot point now anyway...

I got it out this morning to warm up while I cleaned, wiped everything down, and tweaked a couple of spots, I reached for a strainer to fill the gun and knocked it off the bench. :(
What a mess!

I mixed up 1 quart epoxy and 1 quart activator today into a paint mixing can, but ran out of good weather before I could spray.
So I stuck it in the fridge and it's been in there for about seven hours.
I just thought to research if that was a good idea and found this thread.

I pulled it out and it's not thick at all. Not even syrupy. Swishes around just like it did earlier today.
Is it okay to put the lid back on and store in my closet for a couple days or should I toss it?

I'm out of good weather for doing the truck in my driveway but I was hoping to spray some small bits in my garage with it, like tie-rods and steering linkage, etc.

Throw it away.
