I am in the buffing stages now and have to wonder how everybody deals with the static produced by machine buffing. I am using Meguiars 105 on a wool pad. I have static on the car and all my bonnet fluffies cling to the car. Even wiping down the fluffers does not help much as the ones in the air find it.

If they are not on the car there in my mustache tickling me
 
Water kills the static, give the car a rinse down, and hose the floor once in awhile.
 
Thanks Bob, it's not really a big deal but I would like to look back and see a nice shiny panel not a fuzzy sweater. Seems better today as the pad gets used some more.
 
Tried my foam pad with the 205 on the roof. What a big difference. Movin along, pics to come soon
