SPI Reducer and RM Diamont base

Anything "special " about RM Diamont reducers being their base is polyester? I have a gallon of Slow SPI UR - can I use that with the RM BASE? And would it be a good idea to add a capful of SPI Clear coat activator to a qt of the RM Base? Thanks
 
The Diamont reducers in the past has always been a half a bracket slower then SPI, PPG and Debeers.
Example, their medium is in between the other folks medium and slow.
You can use SPI with no issues if right grade for temp and you can also mix the UR with the SPI to create your own temp.
Activating is always good but keep it about one ounce to a mixed quart of base or less.
