SPI Red Base coat

Thanks but I have got to try what I want to accomplish, perhaps it is out of reach but I have talked to a few brilliant minds in this business and have two major pigment manufacturer companies working with me.
I'm even looking at a mill machines that I could only use for black tint, may be a pipe dream but got to try.
 
Barry, I hope you nail what you're after. Can't wait to see what the singlestage is like.

i still have a gallon and a half of your black and am looking for something to paint red just so i can buy your red. what is the basic difference between your base (that bonds quite well to 5 day old spi epoxy, not fun sanding off) and the polyester bases that must be laid down over fresh epoxy within hours to a day? your base sure gives a guy more time to work with.
 
Barry, I sure hope you have your black perfected by the time I get ready to paint my truck (which could be a few years down the road).
 
Can I order a "test batch":).. I have a test subject in need of black single stage.. I only plan on painting it once:p, so 1 gallon kit should do the trick:cool:... Shall I call Andy or James??

There's nothing to ship in any quantity at this point.

No problem, I have made 9 letdown panels and sprayed starting at 3:30 this morning, just playing with the fine tuning of it, won't be long.
