Silver paint choice

It is time to paint a project I have been working on and off for over 10 years. The car was purchased in 1978 when my Mom went through her mid life crisis and I was 13 at the time, so I will be passing this car to one of my children.
If it were your car what brand of paint would you buy for the base? The clear will be with out a doubt be SPI, used their universal and black base for the first time. I WILL NEVER USE ANOTHER BRAND OF CLEAR. Can you tell I like it, Thanks Barry. Out of the metallic bases I used I would say in order that I liked, 1 Standox, 2 Dupon/PPG tie, 3 Nason.

The choice you give I would go with the Standox or PPG, no Nason.

Other good spraying silvers that I like.
Debeers
Standox
Spies
Deltron
Prospray
Diamont
Metalux

For silvers, you cannot go wrong with any I listed.

Thanks Shine,I think I'll give Prospray a try. I've been reading a lot of people like it on this forum.
Thanks again... Mike

I'll give Chad a call, I got his number from Andy when I ordered paint for my daily driver. Thanks

If you give us a call you will most likely get ahold of Kate, she is getting pretty good at looking up colors, but if you need any other info she can grab me from the shop..
She even looks up all of my colors now.. :encouragement:

and shine.. clean out your inbox.. lol..

Hey, this is Kate. I'm a little nervous this is my first post. But I will be checking this out daily now, so hopefully I will get more used to it.
I've been doing all the paint research and mixing for Chad for the last six months or so, and I'm getting the hang of it!
So if there is anything you need, you can drop me a message on here, email me @ autorodgirl@gmail.com or give me a call @ 269-426-6000
