rolling epoxy?

Anyone rolled the epoxy as a straight 1:1 mix with good results?

Just blasted a car trailer, and will epoxy it black. The floor is a solid floor diamond tread design, wondering if rolling the floor is going to be better than trying to spray it.

I've rolled a few other building primers before with good results, never tried it with the epoxy.

I assume it would do great, being flat?

JB, I rolled both garages and brushed the bird cage on vette, all slick and no roller or brush marks.

awesome!

good to know, as i might roll my booth with the white epoxy. just so much easier than loading up the gun everytime and spraying in that thing. those walls get bigger the more you spray them!! the white epoxy matches the gm bright white that i use pretty dang good for them. been using utech ss 3.8 . but at $120 for 5 quarts, gets expensive quick, for a booth.

i use flat latex in my booth walls . paint it about every 3rd car. but my booth is just a big sheetrock room with exhaust and a bunch of lights. i worked at one place that had galvanized booths and refused to paint them.
i plan to roll my car hauler floor with epoxy.

i rolled epoxy on my car, looks great except one side got roller material in it... the little fuzzy things. i didnt know if the epoxy would melt a foam roller....

The owner of SPI has posted that he himelf has done this recently!

I have not tried it, but if I was going to try rolling epoxy that is mixed unreduced, I would try it with one of those foam rollers. Years ago I rolled some rustoleum on a sheetmetal door using one. The finish came out real smooth.

Don't know that I would try it with reducer in the mix, as it may eat up the roller.
