reducer for glasurit 55 base

Does anyone use this base and if so, can spi reducer be used instead of the glasurit? ( I have all kinds of spi ) and also would it still be ok to activate with uc activator ?

I can't keep track of the numbers but if this is their solvent base, yes on the reducer and the activator.
For some reason i was thinking the 54 line was the base but I know they changed number systems a few years back

There are a number of people on here that use the Glasurit, so maybe they will chime in.

We have the Glasurit 55 line in our shop. I been using SPI reducers in the 55 line and also Diamont line for some time and it works great and is whole lot easier on your wallet. Joe

Thanks for the info- ordered some universal yesterday and a gallon of black base from James for the other half of this project, I will start a thread when i get to spraying.....

yes 55 line is their solvent base. its just like diamont with slightly better coverage. as already stated the spi reducer works great with 55 and diamont. i have been using it in diamont for 10 years now.

i ordered it yesterday, never sprayed line 55 sounds like really good stuff. Got plenty of spi reducer ready to go-
