I have blocked my 3 coats of SPI epoxy with 180 and plan to do 1 coat of epoxy then 2 coats of SPI 2k. It's really nice and straight, so I plan to block with 400, then go over it with 600, then go with a reduced epoxy then base, then Universal Clear.
My question is can I go with reduced epoxy before the 2K, or should I go with unreduced epoxy under the 2K, and would the adhesion be better one way or the other. I am thinking the reduced epoxy will go on much smoother than unreduced for a nice base for the 2K, but don't want to do it if adhesion will be less than that of an unreduced epoxy.
It will be my daily driver truck, but since I like to play with this stuff, I am going to try to make it the best I can, including sanding the Universal and re coating with 2 more clear before final cut and buff.
Thanks in advance for your help
