Paint filter sizes

Was sent a post done on another forum about strainer sizes and I learned something.

The strainers you use to strain paint is in the 200-micron range, from years ago I remember these being 150 or so micron and special order one was in the 130 range.

Just to throw this out for your information as it might be of interest as to what we use to filter the products.

Our bag filters are 10, 25 and 50 Micron.

99% of our use is the 25 micron bags for things like clear, base, primer, epoxy and paints.

We use the 10 for reducers, Wax and Grease removers.

Years ago, when we were making -----@--------- Silver we used a 50 micron size bag.

Could be a waste but thought this might interest you.

I assume we should not flush clear through 290 plus micron filters then?
