Opening up Monday.

As a lot of you know, we sent all the employees home with full pay.
Calls to the company were sent to my house and Brian's house as we had our office phones, both phones would ring at the same time, and fastest on the draw got the call.
We were logged in to our work computer and take order and print, and Andy and Wendy pulled the orders and shipped every day at 4 pm.
We just can't keep up, so we made the decision to open up and Brian, and I will be doing phones at home as well as the guys at the plant.
We know there were many calls that we missed because both of us were on the phone at the time and we're sorry about that.

So much for that paid vacation!
Always good to know your products are in big demand. Glad you are all healthy.

In all honesty, I have never worked so hard in my life.
Got to point had to make the tech line nonpriority, and that stressed me out, but today we will make it through and Monday back to normal. So can treat like a vacation. Lol

Understand completely. I used to own a small home construction/remodeling company with about 20 employees. While everyone else enjoyed their time off, I would be working long hours putting together estimates, making tax and insurance payments, handling payroll, purchasing needed tools and supplies, deciding if I should fire or hire people but most of all wondering if it was worth all the effort for what little I was making. LOL

RT,
Unless a person has owned a business or does now, most people dont have a clue what it takes and how it consumes your life in several ways.
It also can be rewarding as we sent employees home with pay, and they would see Andy and Wendy's cars there and continually asking if they could come to work.
As an owner makes me feel good that the employees like their jobs that much.

I get it. 40 years has taken it's toll but I can't stop.
Barry, your employees like their jobs because of you the owner. You treat everyone more that right, big or small. Employees can be the most difficult part of any business, good ones are hard to find.
