Hey all, I Finally have my 57 chevy truck ready to spray. But I need some advise on how I should spray it. these cabs has the door seals on the doors and not the cab. It will be sprayed in black bc and 5-6 coats of universal clear. I am hesitant in spraying the the interior and exterior of the cab itself ,all at the same time for I know I would bump into a door jamb or catch a rocker with the hose or my leg form getting in and out so much. So my question is can I put soft edge tape on the corner edge all along the door opening (highlighted in red for example) mask off the interior and spray the exterior, then come back and hit with 1000 grit along the area and then apply more soft edge tape and mask off the exterior and the spray the interior , then unmask and wet sand the area and buff? is there a easier way. I also thought of blending solvent but have never attempted before.
heres is a youtube video of the exterior all finished up as well
