That was my plan. ThxIf a white base is required, you can either just use a white sealer or use SPI white base. There are options there to help cut cost.
Yeah…one of them you need sunglasses on to look at lol.hugger orange and spi orange are almost identical.
Wow, honestly that’s a surprising price. Maybe there’s been a dramatic increase in the product line. It’s been a bit since I got a quote.Nope, via email, just sent an estimate for 1469.00
I have the color chip. SPI Orange is super bright in sunlight. Believe me, i had my eye on it for a long time now. Its just too bright IMHO. Another gentleman on here calls it As Bright As Barry Can Make It Orange (ABABCMO)hugger orange and spi orange are almost identical.
Every picture will be different because of exposure, lighting conditions etc etc. No way you can pic a color based on a Pic IMHO.hugger orange and spi orange are almost identical.
Shine has probably sprayed a lot hugger orange since it came out in the 60's. He's not basing what he said on a picture.Every picture will be different because of exposure, lighting conditions etc etc. No way you can pic a color based on a Pic IMHO.
Yeah, I’m not saying it’s wrong but seems shockingly high. Most colors I get are for collision so are metallic, have pearls etc so if anything I should be getting hammered $$$. Speaking of I have a pearl white I need to place an order for, woohoo.Honestly I'm shocked that it is $971 gallon. I got a quote a couple of weeks ago from a guy local to me who sells AA. It was for Motobase, a red variant and it was $618 for a gallon.
I'm going to call him and get him to price it out. I'll report back with what he says

Thank you very much!! I will see if I can find a local jobberJust got off the phone with my guy in Collinsville VA. $877 per gallon for Chevy Hugger Orange code 72-3959. So Chad's price is probably right, I'm assuming it included shipping. If you have a AA Jobber near you you could get it for $877.
I'm very surprised that DBC was "only" a couple hundred more.
I would also try to get a quote in Wanda.
If you did go with a cheap base keep in mind that while the UV clear has a lot of UV protection a cheap base can still fade underneath the good clear.
Call AA and they will tell you where the closest distributor is to you. If you are near Buffalo there is one there.Thank you very much!! I will see if I can find a local jobber
Thank you, Buffalo is way way too far. I'm in upstate NY.Call AA and they will tell you where the closest distributor is to you. If you are near Buffalo there is one there.
