Looking for clear sealer or bonding agent for under enamel

I used to use XIM Flash Bond under synthetic and acrylic enamel. This seemed to work well for overcoating frames and other bare metal utility type surfaces. The XIM was clear and I would just mix it with color and shoot, eliminating the extra step.

Is there a similar SPI product?
 
Wow, had not heard that name in 30 years.
It was used in fleet painting under enamels and even if still around, not so sure it would work under urethanes.

What type of surface prep do you need for the clear bed liner? Usually, bed liner give you a fairly thick coating, probably a little more than what I'm looking for.

I probably wouldn't try it with urethane, I was just looking for a similar product to use under either acrylic or synthetic enamel. I'm fairly sure that XIM is still available, but it isn't as easily obtainable in the Seattle area as it once was. That is why I was looking for a substitute. The last time I bought some, it had to be shipped from Spokane, Wa.

Thanks guys, I bought this before and wasn't looking for a source for XIM. My question was "Is there a similar SPI product?", so I guess the answer is no.
