We will be switching paint lines shortly and will not be able to mix Pro-Spray, if anybody needs some extra paint for their project and has already ordered from us you will need to let us know in the next few days.

I do not log on often so it would be best to email me or call.

Damn, you guys were my only link to pro-spray. I hope what you are switching to is comparable in pricing.

Heard at the Street Rod Nationals in Louisville from a Valspar/HoK representative that Valspar bought out Pro-Spray and Matrix that very weekend.

I didn't know they also owned Matrix.. Makes me feel even a little bit better about the switch.. Everybody seems to be buying everybody.. UGHHH.

I just hope Valspar doesn't go and buy out SPI. That's what I really hope doesn't happen. If that was to happen, I might just retire from this trade, and go do something else.

LOL I bet Barry would have a good chuckle at your comment, and I mean no disrespect with that.

I have read Barry's comments about big companies trying to buy him out, I don't think you have to worry about any of that.

Wow missed this, haven't been on here in a while. I only do occasional work at home, but always ordered pro spray and SPI from Chad. Thankfully I found a little store locally that carries it, Was really shocked when I walked in and seen it. Glad Chad was there to ship it though in years prior, and amazingly fast.
Just so long as you guys keep on carrying SPI. Have to stock up on supplies soon, have quite a few paint jobs to do in the works. Have found no local stores carrying spi yet.
Pro spray was owned by usc, so makes sense they own em both. Suppose the price will now go up. Shop I was in in the 90's used a lot of marhyde primer, one of the cheapest you could buy, think like 60 bucks a gallon with hardener. 3M got a hold of em and ain't so cheap no more.
Great when Valspar gets a hold of SPI, will finally be able to pick up local, but it will be sitting in lowes by the pastel color chips and plastic pan and roller application tools, and even though Barry said you would never see them sponsoring race cars, there it will be, SPI on Jimmy Johnsons ride.

LOL two way to grow in this business, make a great product and treat people like you want to be treated OR you buy the competition and that makes the numbers look good for a couple of years.

I would love an SPI sticker on Jimmy's car, just not going to pay for it, need to call and see if they would do it for free! LOL

Barry, maybe if you tell them you run a non-profit to help car restoration junkies get their lives straightened out. Hey, it's not far from the truth!!!!
