So I am guessing that the "Bow Tie" will be replaced with a "Chad" emblem? GM never made any vehicles that fit that good.

Lol.. you are probably right. today on the drivers side we cut about a half inch of the back of the rocker, and added a half to the front to make it line up to the door properly.. I don't know what day that rocker was put on, but I think the guy that did it had a few to many to drink at lunch time.

Lol. I had a idea, if it doesn't work I will be ruining a panel they don't make anymore, a very critical panel.. lol.

I'll post a pic when I get the first part done.

Probably won't be working on it for a week or so, need to do body work on the packard, but I am anxious to get back on it.
 
I feel stuipd, it took me a few minutes to figure out what you did to the hood (esp since I had a '61 for a short while) - VERY slick.
 
Very cool, definately a tough bodystyle to get dialed in for straightness. Nice to see those old style hood hinges go away. Chad are you going to graft the hood sides to the tops of the fenders? Struts for the hood? Is this a project that's snowballing or did you guys plan all these mods out from day one? Nice work!!
