She sure looks solid, you can't find them like that here in the U.P. The roof front and windshield top are areas that are known for rust on that design-they must be all bare steel inside from the factory. Chad, is that your coupe in the background? nice!

Yes, this is a very solid truck, wish they were all this clean, going to get some new doors for it though, one was crushed and the other was rusty, he has a combination of parts between 2 trucks, took the best of the two, this should be a fun project. I'm anxious to get into it and see some more progress..

The coupe is a 37 packard, doing for a customer, it's a little rough around the edges, right now we started doing some floor patches, it was da stripped, then blasted then epoxied, that is about as far as it has gone so far.

Packard streetrods command some really good prices when they are done nice. What color is the truck going to be?

He want's to go a bright orange of some sort. I hope the packard has value, it's going to cost plenty to get it done. He is going mostly stock with it. I would like to do a few subtle changes, but i don't think he's interested.

Keep it stock :) "Ask A Man who owns One" the old Packard adage.

That is a nice truck. Other half likes that style truck.....

Ya, i think he's leaning towards stock, if it were mine i would probably leave it stock, other than i would have to consider lowering some, just to give it a better look but not sure how it would look with the front end it has.

I will probably start a thread on the packard soon, i need to buckle down and start researching parts.

It all looks super nice.

I have the 1.6 tip on my new LPH440, and it does not put out as much material as I though it would. Oddly enough, it seems to put less material down than the LPH400 1.4.

I might have to get the 1.8.

I like the 1.8 but like you said, it seems smaller.. I thought it was just me and my liking to pouring materials on..
