Info on SPI clears

New to the SPI products, have'nt tapped into the euro2020(5000) I bought yet.Need to use up the few partial gallons other clear on the shelf first.
So,Uv(4000)=is show car clear
Euro2020(5000)= hi end collision clear
production 2100= ???
How does 2100 compare to 5000? With the fast activator seems 5000 could be a production clear too. Maybe someone can give a little better breakdown of differences of each
(4000,5000,2100),how they compare to each other and particular type of job each fits best. Pro and cons of each.

Right now with my Sherwin system,I use Hpc15 for 1-2 panel and small stuff,CC939 for multi panel, and show stuff gets Matrix ms-42.For cheaper jobs(older everyday vehicles without warranty concerns) (sw) Finish 1 fc710 and fc720,not bad stuff for the $$$ not sure on long term holdout.Seems people hang on to these older cars longer, don't want to get burned on clear going crap.Had that debacle(about 4 years ago) with ppg omni 260 clear that started delaming after 2-3 years.Don't want that again.

If I were using the PPG deltron system(next door in dad's shop) Deltron 2000 clear for 1 panel and small, DCU 3000 for 2-3 panels and deltron 4000 for large or completes.

Would be nice to have Uv for show stuff and 5000 or maybe 2100 for the collision-insurance end.
2 clears would be awsome,a hell of alot better than 2-3 highend and 2 cheap ones on the shelf. Too many activators to go bad,not mention the inventory cost.

thanks

We have a lot of shops that stock 2-3 different clears, every shop is different as far as conditions and it funny to talk to one of these shops, as they have it to a science as to this type of repair, I like this one and that type of repair, this one works the best.

Personally, I think the universal will do everything a shop needs but I have been proven wrong and that is why we have so many clears.
If I had to GUESS, I would say the majority of the shops that stock two different clears use the Universal and the 5000 but we have a number that stock universal and 2100.

Here is something we do, that the others do not and that is we use the same expensive polyol and same percentages of UV inhibitors in all of our clears.
This decision hurts when competing on cost but I sleep good at night.

As always, you are welcome to call me anytime to discuss any concerns and I think you will find, I will always give any negatives as well as any positives.
