Indasa masking tape? Anyone ever use it?

i have never seen it for sale anywhere else. a local jobber here just happened to be selling it. looks like they are setting up the website to eventually be able to order online from the company. there is the # on the website for now i guess. i have not tried to call either.
 
Indasa is a European Union business entity--tapes are usually from Portugal.

Nothing to write home about.

I was using it in the dead of summer last year in Georgia and had no issues with it.
 
What tape? We arent talking about indasa. We are talking about the one i posted. Autorind
 
I’ve been buying the Indasa tape from Chad. He tried to push me on it.

I’m lukewarm on it. Initially it didn’t seem to stick as well as 3M. You do need to press it on a little harder to get the adhesion but then it does adhere fine. I’ve been using both the green and yellow and also have 3M green and yellow.

The 3M is thicker and stickier.

I do not see a difference in how one peels off the panel vs the other.

The Indasa rips a little easier than the 3M.

To me the 3M is still a better tape. I use it where a sticker tape is going to be more useful and then I use the Indasa for lighter duty masking.
 
Ya, I don't know if ill ever purchase it again but who knows. Seems to work ok. I kinda like that its a little thinner and you can work it around slight curves better. In the end its just tape, and it ends up in the garbage can. The only real reason this even came up is because the fuckin bean counters closed the finishmaster by my house and the other jobber is a pain in the ass to get to during the week.

I am very curious about that tape that Jim C talked about.
