i have not. i have looked at it then saw the price of it and i really didnt see a reason to change from the 3m yellow since its about the same price. i have found a tape that so far i have found it comparable to the 3m yellow in just about every way and a case of 24 - 2" rolls is if i remember right $89. new business and you have to call to place an order. they have 3 colors of tape but its all the same. just color preference.

OK, thanks. I was just curious about indasa because I have to order some sand paper and saw on the site.

When I was working in various Shops the Reps would always drop off samples of various products for us to try. I tried some of the Indasa tape and didn't like it. Didn't always release clean. Tore, seemed thin. And adhesive would sometimes transfer. Pretty much the same as all the other non 3M tapes I've tried. 3M is all I use. Would like to find an alternative but IDK what that is.

Keep us posted on how you like it Jim.

its funny how different tapes are and how hard it is to find a good one. 3m is always good however the price sux. to find something that works as good and less expensive is tough. i have used a couple rolls so far of the one i posted and its seems really good. slightly thinner than 3m but i have yet to have it leave any adhesive behind or shred when it comes off. i will be ordering a few cases soon to give it a good try before i go ordering a half pallet lol.

I'm going to watch this, I am buying 3M yellow by the case but would love to shave a few bucks of my material bill if this other tape is good.
I sell the 3M yellow and green, as well as the Carworx Orange. I use the 3M yellow for my own garage projects, but also use the Carworx from time to time. The Carworx is the thinner type, but works well as long as it is removed within a few days. It does not like being out in the sun for days on end, that's when it will start to come apart when removing. I prefer the 3M green, but it cost so much more then the yellow that I can't justify it.

I haven't really tried it yet. I honestly bought it on accident. Lol. I added it to my cart before I made this thread and went back a day later to finish buying some sand paper.

So I've only went through a roll of this tape so far and honestly I don't have any real complaints yet. Ill have to give a real verdict when I have to tape up a large project, but so far it applies nice, tears nice etc....

i have an update as well...

the tape i posted above i have been through a case and this stuff is actually really nice. it doesnt shred when its removed nearly as much as other tapes i have used. i would say its very similar to 3m yellow but i actually like it a little better. the adhesive is maybe just a hair lighter tack than yellow. the green color i am using you can slightly see though when its applied which helps when doing artwork or finding things under the tape. not sure if that means anything to anyone here but a plus for me. it has also never left adhesive behind. it tears nice. not as tough to tear as 3m green or yellow. maybe a little easier but it also conforms to curves really well without tearing. i have tried it with water and solvent. works great for both. it has actually really surprised me. i am paying i think $89 or 90 a case of 2". 24 rolls

That just seems like an amazing price. I will definitely be trying that out.

I don't even look at the 2" 3M tape when I'm at the store, hell I'm scared to even walk by it for fear my debit card will be automatically charged.

Yeah i agree. I have been buying cases of factory seconds which is all surtape /frog tape brand and that is the same price as this stuff and its all good stuff. Only thing i have not been able to test it against is the heat and humidity. Wont know how it works in those conditions until july
