700.jpe

Interesting.
Did it get Sun or major temperature swings to turn it ?
I actually have the first gallon of 700 I bought from spi and it is clear as spring water. Must be like 16-17 years old. It came from Baker if that tells you anything about the age.
I didn't like it personally and primarily use 710 but doing a lot of plastics and such now, starting using it and works perfectly.

The formula has changed since then.

First gallon I bought I did not notice any darkening. Sometime later I bought two more gallons and in a matter of months I noticed considerable darkening. I immediately went to the site and searched to see if this may be an issue and found nothing. Lately I've seen some posts remarking how it darkens with time. I'm curious as to what has changed and when. Hopefully it is for the better.

I thought that also because it was in a clear spray bottle...but it still looks the same in the jug that it came from...and it was in a climate controlled area....I called SPI and I was assured it was still ok

Don,dhutton, says it Stains anything you use it on in case you missed that so check it before you spray it on something other than Brown. Lol..
We had a discussion about this awhile back and Barry was saying something about the Alcohol, not bourbon, content percentage and epa would not have it if over a certain percent.
Probably because it's proof was illegal or some nonsense.

Yes I did see that....I'm sure it will stain anything primed....I use it only on bare metal and plastics....I'll use 710 on primed surfaces.....and yes it does look like bourbon.lol..hhmmmmmm
