How hot can epoxy get?

#1
When I use a heat lamp I try to stay under 130 degrees,
But I have a black hood in the sun that is 135 degrees in the later afternoon.
It probably will get hotter during mid day.
How hot is to hot?

Barry usually says 120°, but I have routinely heated SPI products up to 140° with no apparent ill effects. 160° seems like the danger zone for most products as far as I can tell.

Epoxy will with ease withstand 400 degrees when cured.
Issue is epoxy does not do real well in high heat when first sprayed.so 120s are nice very safe bet after spraying, next day temp don't matter

When we were involved selling ecoaters we changed solvents to match their bake temp as one baked at 275 and another in the 300s, this would not work well for normal automotive painting.
