Have you guys seen this?

I watched the video all I can say is pity the poor guy that answers the tech line for that product.
Way out of my skill level.

lumilor has been around for atleast 10-15 years now. i havent heard anything much on it in the past 5. i figured the company went under or something. it used to be you sent them your parts, they apply the coating and clearcoat it then send it back to you so you can scuff and do your artwork over it. now i think you can do it yourself. they will sell you the stuff. i know someone who did it and its not all its cracked up to be. he said it was quite difficult to do. a $600 kit with just a few oz and he couldnt get an even glow with it. there are multiple layers of different products that need to go down. also the transformers were an issue. they only had 2 sizes and they were small so you could only do tiny areas. maybe a 6"x6" square or smaller. to do larger areas you needed to make a bunch of these small sections each with its own transformer. i always hated these gimmicky paints things.

Man,we use to have such cool 'stuff as kids.... I could buy a jar of glow in the dark paint for like 75 cents and make anything do that without a transformer. Think it was called Bug Juice or something.
Now It's ALL ILLEGAL.....
Think personally that California causes Cancer.

From the video, it stated to be applied over bare metal. So no SPI epoxy, and I would assume no filler, not even a skim coat. Two things I'm wondering, 1st..... will rust form between the metal and sprayed coating, and 2nd,.... will there be a dielectric occurrence . Like when you use say, cooper with galvanized steel?

My understanding was that you DO NOT apply over bare metal as that would be a short circuit to the chassis ground. You basically build the circuit on top of finished work. Again, that's how I understand it.
