So today started with me thinking that my 2000 Z28 would be in SS black tonight, that didn't happen! I mixed epoxy 1:1:30% but I think I made a misjudgment on gun setting, by closing my fan setting to much and maybe a little high gun pressure 28psi. epoxy didn't lay down like I thought it should. What I ended up with is few runs and some ever so slight cratering on some of my overlaps, I'm learning and can spray epoxy 1:1 pretty damn slick but I've sprayed over 8 gallons mixed over the past year between 2 camaro's. Long story short 12:00 am I started spaying 12:30 I was cleaning my gun and turning the lights off in my booth not sure what my next step would be, 6:30 pm tonight I decided I was either going to really screw things up or fix it. I got the 600 wet/dry spray bottle of water and went to work and must say turned out better than I thought it would. I've got a good slick finish now and plan on going straight to SS in the morning wish me luck I'll need it being my first spray out by myself, I've done prep and body work on my own cars for better than 40 years but always had a buddy do the spraying.
