I've noticed that my LPH400 isn't spraying as well as before. Could my filter be saturated and cause the "issue"? The indicator is pink and not blue. As you see, the pattern is rough.

I didn't have a wire small enough to ream them so I took one off a wire brush. Didn't do a whole lot but the damage was done so nothing would help. Tons of runs.

I've complained that I get better results from my mobile set up than with this Quincy. It's just odd.

If the beads were saturated they would not restrict flow imo. You would just have moisture issues.

If you need proof remove the beads and see if the air flow improves.

Post up some pics of your complete air supply from compressor to gun.

The QC3 is just for spraying. The reel is just for spraying too.
I really don't have any vapor issues. Just stupidity.

Those hose reels are known to have fittings that restrict flow. I would try removing it.

That's still the reel. It restricts even when fully out? My pea brain doesn't get it.

So, a story is developing. Ever since I had this system it's sucked compared to my mobile set up. Last year, when I replaced the old hose, I found a 1/4 inch adapter coming out of the filter. EUREKA! I "fixed" the issue! To reward my genious I got the hose reel and apparently put myself back into the dunce category.

If there were no changes or restrictions to the air supply, I would dismantle and thoroughly clean the spray gun, Pay special attention to the air cap holes, needle and packing. I did have an issue once with my LPH 400 and it turned out to be some clear coat partially plugging the air cap.
