Just finished this project for a really cool old dude. Guys been building the car for about 8 years. Was driving it around in primer forever(yes it all came off), but here are some pics of the process and final results.
Materials used:
Super build 4:1
SPI Epoxy
Automotive Art Base coats
SPI UV clear
Wizards Polishing products
Lots of sweat!
Dropped off:
The hood never shut right, turns out the hinges were assembled wrong and binding up which caused the old screws to basically rip out. I installed new rivnuts and epoxied them in.
Now that that part was over, it was time to dig into the body. The old guy tried to do it himself years ago.
He filled the doors with some expanding foam that completly bubbled out the doors. I had to chisel this shit out and basically cut and reglass the doors to get them flat.
Fast forward, initial bodywork complete.
