Epoxy on tile

I've read on home improvement sites about painting tile...they all use some form of two part epoxy to paint with. I would think SPI epoxy would work as good or better than any of them. Anyone have any experience with this or opinions?
 
We did 17 nursing homes drive in with wheel chair showers about 10 years ago and we sell a number of tub and toilet refinishers who leave it in white epoxy.
Works great clean good and sand with 180 by hand clean and epoxy.

Leave it in epoxy?
Would it be better to put some white urethane over that?
 
No, SPI epoxy is way stronger than any urethane or polyurethane no matter what the price.
Waste of time and money.
