Here are a few photos of a Mustang that has been in my shop for the last two years. SPI epoxy, 2K, and Universal clear. It is about 98% finished, but the customer wanted to bring it to the Northwest Motor fest this last weekend.
The car has the complete drive train, dash, A/C, stereo, wiring and electronics from the 2006 car. Even the ’06 wiper motor runs the wipers with all the modern functions. The rear of the car is built to look like a ’69 fastback Mustang, and we used ’67 fastback quarter panels to help balance the rear tires (they are a 1.5” higher than the convertible quarters) and even makes the top look like it has a slight chop. The front of the hood has been extended 3” and the grill surround and hood scoop is custom built in steel. The body is mounted on a modifeid Art Morrison Max-G chassis. Many subtle details for someone with a sharp eye to see. Most folks think it’s a stock mustang with wheels and a nice color, but the car guys come back to look at it many times.
It has been a very interesting build, and I will add some build photos soon.-- Scott--
