Be praying for my Mom

Just got back from the Hospital. She's doing better. Noticed a definite improvement from yesterday. Nurse said she will probably be able to go home on Monday. Big relief.:) She's not going to be able to do much for herself for a month or more but that's OK. I'll be able to take care of her. Thankful that she made it through the procedure. The UTI seems to be under control as well. Told her the all the boys from the SPI Forum were praying for her as well. Thank you all for the prayers and kind words.

I’ll say a prayer for her and your family. It is a very stressful time. I went through the same experience when my dad had a quintuple bypass, so I can totally relate. Waiting in the waiting room during surgery was the longest day. Unfortunately my dad died a few weeks later, so you must be adamant your mother follows the doctors’ orders to a T in her recovery. There is no room for complacency.

excellent news Chris... Keep the positive updates coming! Love that the docs thought she was a candidate for the less invasive version, that is encouraging by itself.

She's getting closer to coming home but not today.:( She is having something called atrial fibrillation so they are keeping her till that's under control. Maybe tommorrow . We'll see. Thank you all again for the prayers and well wishes.

Chris,
My wife has had 6 stints followed by a double bypass due to coronary artery disease. She had serious trouble with A-fib (atrial fibrillation) so the doctor preformed an ablation surgery. Apparently there are nerves that control the heart's pulse rate and if one of them begins sending erratic signals, it causes the A-fib. The ablation surgery corrects that issue and my wife has been doing great since having it.
