****$***** base and clear

Motobase is my go to.....this current small project though is on the cheap cheap.. Motobase was more expensive than the wanda.

What I am painting with the wanda will only look decent once.. After that it will be destroyed. i dont even know why Im painting it, but they pay..i paint!

I've painted about a half dozen or so Urekem metallics on golf carts, I used their glamour clear (going for low cost here). In all cases I was really impressed or happy with them. The base covered well, 2 coats seemed to have full coverage and I always go a third just in case there's light spots I can't see in the lighting. I didn't notice any difference in that vs. Prospray or Motobase metallics.

Yep, I have a golf car dealer that I do work for and 99% of them that I do end up with Urekem on them, from candies to metallics to pearls.. I honestly like all of their products. I also really like SPI! It's ok to have a variety. I don't sell any of this stuff so my cabinet is full of all kinds of stuff.

When I have a chance to try something new I always do, on smaller stuff. I wont switch up my process on a complete car or anything. But if I'm going a small project I wont be afraid to try something new if its relatively cheap.

SPI's epoxy is the OEM material for one of the major cart manufacturers (I want to say EZ Go), so I used SPI epoxy and 2k regular build to block (fills in chips and scratches), and then Urekem base and clear.
